Moss (formerly MacroArt) is a leading provider of high-impact graphics, branding displays, and signage solutions, based in Cambridgeshire. For nearly 30 years, they have been creating outstanding visual solutions for global brands and agencies in the live events, retail, sports, and visitor attraction sectors.
Moss became the first company Vantage approached with the idea of a purpose-built installation project management system. The Moss team immediately recognized the value of such a tool.
Admin overload. Before Vantage, Moss’s installation management process wasn’t centralized. Project managers were trying to balance multiple spreadsheets and hundreds of admin phone calls just to keep jobs moving. Simple tasks, such as assigning work, updating job details, or managing installers’ calendars, became time-consuming and stressful.
Manual data entry. Moss used Lift ERP to manage production workflows digitally; however, installation management still required extra manual steps. Project managers had to copy installation details from Lift into spreadsheets to communicate with installation teams. This process was too repetitive and created the risk of errors that could delay projects.
Lack of alignment across vendors. With both in-house installers and a subcontractor network operating across the UK, Ireland, and mainland Europe, keeping everyone aligned was a challenge. Without a centralized system, coordinating updates and schedules across different regions took extra effort from the team.
Central place to manage installations. Vantage brought all of Moss’s installation operations into a single, easy-to-manage system. Project managers can now view in-house and subcontractor schedules side-by-side, making it easy to plan work and avoid scheduling conflicts. With clearer visibility and fewer admin tasks, the team can now focus more on delivering high-quality installations at speed.
Syncing production with installation. Since Vantage is integrated with Lift ERP, Moss’s installation management flows automatically, without the need for manual data entry. As soon as a job is created in Lift, it appears in Vantage, while the installers’ completion reports and photos are synced back to Lift in real-time. With this seamless connection, the Moss team saves valuable time and stays fully up-to-date on project progress without needing to switch between systems.
Easy-to-use app for vendors. With Vantage, each subcontractor team now has their own dashboard to receive jobs directly from Moss and allocate work to their own installers. Centralized access to schedules, project docs, and real-time updates means subcontractors can resolve on-site queries without needing to check back with the Moss team, keeping projects moving smoothly without delays, no matter where the teams are working.
